Mates and Rooibos
Maté is a plant native to Paraguay and its cultivation has spread to Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. It is rich in mateine, similar to theine. The Guarani Indians have long enjoyed its beneficial and invigorating qualities.
Rooibos is a herbaceous plant, a small shrubby bush from the broom family. It grows in the Cederberg region of South Africa. Rich, full-bodied and stronger than a herbal tea, the leaves are naturally caffeine-free. Perfect before bed.
